My fetish for enhancing the body’s innate beauty with markings, decoration, disciplined movement and ritual modification began in childhood when I discovered that our flesh is mutable and responds eagerly to attention, care and expansive movement. Later when I realized that pain is largely a conditioned response that we have the ability to transmute, I became forever intrigued with how to use sensation to induce ecstatic states and set the bodymind free.

I formally stepped into the modern world of body modification in 1992, to form my own rites of passage in a world seemingly bare of special demarcations of meaningful maturation and celebration. In practices that both arise out of the skin, and those put on and into the flesh, I began to experience a cathartic route to shockingly personal embodiment. I came into relationship with my divinity through celebrating my flesh, the very thing that pure spirit lacks, yet bonds us all.

Exploring and self-defining the glossary for pleasure and pain have become a central and revolutionary part of my life. In my opinion there is no act more revolutionary, more defiant, than being aware and in alignment with one’s own bodymind. No one can take away the power we find in our own spirited soma.

My intention is to create, facilitate and share extraordinarily intimate rites for individuals and groups to unleash the confidence and curiosity within our skin. In connecting to one’s will and passion by using piercing, cutting, and other modalities, we can transcend restrictive beliefs and long held limitations, to create flight in the bodymind and know spirit directly in our experiences.

I work in both private and public settings to execute personally arranged rites. I am available to design, implement and or/perform these rites. I am a graduate of the Fakir Intensives, and am attentive to the latest in health and safety.
